£1 Bargains - 12 Days of Christmas #4 🎁

As you can probably tell from today's title, we are going to be reviewing all the bargain branded makeup I have picked up from stores such as Poundland and Poundworld.

So we shall start at the left of the photo.
The first few items I found in my local pound shops were these beautiful NYC lipsticks. The pinky stick and the purple are NYC Expert Last lipsticks in 402 Red Flame and 405 Blue rose. These retail for £1.99 so you save 99p which is almost enough to buy another. I bought these for a party purely for their pearly finish as they were not matte. They are extremely pigmented and creamy and the shiny finish reflects light perfectly giving you an almost metallic look.

The NYC lip stain in between the 2 lipsticks is a 16hour smooch proof lip stain in 506 Coralicious. This truly could stay for 16hours I used this as a base under my expert last in flame red as the colours are very similar. This isn't as pigmented as the lipsticks but it works perfectly as a base for other lipsticks to sit on top of. This retails for around £3.99 so you're saving £2.99! Bargain!

The next item completely shocked me when I saw this on the shelves of my local poundland and I couldn't help but notice the large array of Rimmel lipstick stacked on the shelf. This is ofcourse the famous Rimmel Apocalips in 303 Apocaliptic. This is a gloss/lipstick formula which applies like a gloss and dries like a lipstick formulation. These are long lasting and work best with a lip liner as they do have the tenancy to bleed. These retail for £6.49, need I saw no more!

Next is another Rimmel favourite. Colour Rush sticks! These retail for £5.99 and I bought this for £1!!! What?! Imagine receiving all of this on Christmas day thinking your family has spent almost hundred on makeup and realising they spent their time rooting through pound stores, I'd be pretty impressed. This is very similar to the revlon sticks which everyone raves about.

Another Rimmel! And it's a Rimmel Kate lipstick in colour 06. This is the nicest pink/red colour for those autumn/winter days when you want an easy to apply subtle red colour! These retail for £6.

Next is an unfamiliar Maybelline newyork stretch and define mascara. This is brown and it definitely does as it says. I reccomend this mascara to anyone who wants to add a lot of length to their lashes!

This one I couldn't believe. As I routed around the packages of branded makeup I came across a fully packaged and sealed Tanya Burr gloss in the shade I found nemo, I couldn't believe my eyes, I was sure these were around the £7 mark?! But fortunately enough they scanned and it was believe it or not £1.

Last lip product is an Astor, popular poundland brand, lipstick in Grapefruit, this is a gorgeous coral, orange colour which adds a bright yet also subtle hint of colour. This is a perfect transition shade from spring to summer!

Lastly my NYC HD eyeliner and Rimmel Scandal eyes stick! These have to be my most used products. The NYC eyeliner is in 002 Foxy Mama, it's advertised as a grey/green yet comes out brown/black. As the applicator is so thin I can apply this to my lash line to thicken the look of my lashes. For a quick fix I turn to my trust scandal eyes eyeshadow stick in 011 Buffing this is a beautiful shimmery brown shade perfect to throw on the lids when you're in a rush!
