So, as you can probably tell from the photo above, this month I did a little bit of makeup shopping! I'm sure you're just as excited as I am writing this, maybe not quite as excited.
Let's get straight onto the face products I purchased this month...
The Clean and Clear Hint of Tint is a new favourite CC cream. It has a thick consistency but a light coverage that feels weightless on the skin whilst it works to diminish the appearance of blemishes using Salicylic acid to help protect against spots. This cost £4.50 and for the price it is a wonderful light coverage foundation.

The Collection Cover and Go foundation was on sale for £1 in my local Asda so I picked it up. I found it had a brilliant shade range the lightest in stock was Light 2 which I found worked fine on my pale skin usually even the lightest shades are too dark! Unfortunately for me, this foundation had very little coverage and the concealer in the lid was extremely drying. But what can you expect for £1?
Let's move onto lip products!
Firstly the 2 MUA Luxe Metalic lipsticks in Blaze and Glint. These were on sale for £2 usually £4 so I picked up 2. These were in a magazine I read recently with a beauty expert claiming they were dupes for Kylie Lipkits which I agree to a certain extent as they are slightly gritty as they have chunks of glitter in however it's not too uncomfortable. They also can be slightly patchy and not 100% opaque which maybe a problem. I use these over other lipsticks to create a metallic finish and overall I enjoy them.
Next is the Model Co lipliner, I have 2 of these and this is a repurchase as I loved my first one. However this is more on the pricey side at £16 but for someone with smaller lips who prefers to overline slightly this creates the perfect 'artificial lip'
EYES!
First I bought 2 Barry M eyeshadows for £1 these are quite sheer and honestly aren't the best. I do not recommend.
Next I bought the Sleek Dancing til Dusk eye and cheek palette for £1 in poundland this usually costs £9.99 so I had to pick this up! Overall I love the eyeshadows in this palette but the blushes just don't suite my skin BUT it was only £1 so I can't complain as the eyeshadows are good quality!
