1. SLEEP - this might sound obvious but getting enough sleep is crucial. You're health is the most important thing, without sleep you will not have enough energy to get you through the day which can cause even more stress. So make sure you're getting at least 9 hours a night!
2. STUDY - studying is my most stressful task, I despise it. But we all have to do it. So putting in a couple of half hour study periods into your daily routine will help. Create yourself a study planner (good examples on https://printables-only.tumblr.com/ ) this will help you plan when you are going to study. Make sure you don't over do it, any more than half an hour and you'll get bored and make sure to give yourself at least a 20 minute break in between study periods. As long as your studying is consistent and in short bursts it shouldn't cause too much stress.
3. GO OFFLINE - this is by far the most difficult thing for me but sometimes whether I am studying or not, I like to put away my devices and refrain from looking on social media. Doing so can really help you distress. Instead of going online, I like to pick up a book or magazine or go out with friends, anything to distract me from social media just for an hour or two.
4. ORGANISATION - sometimes a little stationary shop or quick desk clean can really relieve stress. I for one know that after I have cleaned my desk and organised my folders, I feel much more stress free and motivated to study. And let's be honest, who doesn't love a good stationary shop.
There are definitely more techniques than listed here, some people prefer meditation or mindfulness and sometimes colouring can be very therapeutic. Comment down below what you do to help reduce stress, I would love to try some suggestions
