To be honest, I never thought I would find myself using Primark make up, but I guess there's a first time for everything!
Much to my surprise, these products were extremely cheap, yet some are extremely good quality for their price!
First I am going to talk about the lip products:)
So I have tried to show swatches and match them to the lip stick, looks a bit confusing but oh well.
Number 1 and 2 are the PS Love Lip Liners, these are £1 each and they are amazing quality. They are highly pigmented and long lasting making them perfect for lining your lips.
Unfortunately numbers 3, 4 and 5 feel really chalky on the lips and are very drying and were most definitely my least favourite of the bunch.
Number 6 is a super moisturising lip crayon. It has a slightly orange tone to it and the texture is like that of a balm. I do really like this one and may purchase it in more colours.
Lastly number 7, this is my favourite of the bunch its a really pigmented barbie pink which is super, super long lasting and I am really impressed with the quality of this product.
Moving onto the face products...
So from the face section I decided to pick up a few things.
First I picked up the PS Illuminate cream. This can be used alone or under foundation, it also suggest mixing with a small blob of foundation to lighten it. I tested it with foundation and it did lighten it really well although it minimised the coverage. It definitely brightens your skin and I would say it's a very cheap dupe for the MAC Strobe Cream.
Next I picked up a face powder they had these in 3 shades light, medium and dark. I picked up the lightest shade and it really does give good coverage, I wish I had opened it on camera to show you and already I have used a lot of this product as the quality is great.
The two blushers I purchased I was not overly impressed with, at first look they look highly pigmented and amazing but when applied to the face you can barely tell they are there at all. They are definitely build-able and you can make them more visible however it does take many layers.
Moving onto eyes...
Next I got 2 pencil liners in a gold shade and a white. I was impressed with the pigmentation of the white liner however the gold shade didn't show up as well as I hoped as it was too close to my skin tone. However I found the gold shade added a good highlight to my brow bone as it did give some shimmer.
They had a variety of mascaras but I chose these two, the pink metallic mascara came with a very chunky wand which made my eyelashes very clumpy and thick which personally I do not like. I was happy with the black one which separated my eyelashes hugely and added length and volume.
Hopefully you've enjoyed this long waffley blog post today.
Let me know in the comments if you've ever tried any primark makeup.
I'd definitely repurchase the black mascara, felt eyeliners and the pink lipstick as I was highly impressed with the quality of those:)
